Clerk of Augusta) and Gabriel Jones (the "Valley Lawyer") as executors - two youngest children in care of John and Agatha Strother Madison. Married Unknown but said to have been Mary? Taylor? 2. Capt. Thomas Burk (1741-1808) - one of two youngest children of Wm. - married Clara Frazier (Montgomery Co. marriage record), removed ca. 1771 to area now Giles Co, VA, on military records of Fincastle & Montgomery Co. VA, additional land records found in Botetourt Co. - Capt. in Indian border wars. Buried Horseshoe Cemetery, Giles Co, VA. 3. Mary Burk b 22 Jan 1762, d 3 May 1825, m 24 Aug. 1784, Montgomery Co, VA to Col. Christian Snidow (1760-1836), Col. Snidow served Indian wars and Revolution. My line continues through their daughter, Nancy Snidow, who married James Harvey (1782-1861), of Red Sulpher Springs, Monroe Co, (W) VA and son of Nicholas Harvey.
