Hi listers: My BURKE line stems from Ireland arriving in Minooka, PA in 1851 John BURKE married to Anna JUDGE BURKE. Had 9 children (have names of 5) Maryann, Bridget, Margaret, Barbary & William J. (my g-grandfather) William J. BURKE married Margaret MCDONNELL BURKE had 8 children Annie, Thomas, John, William, Edmond, Sarah* (my grandmother), Margaret & Genevieve. WILLIAM J. BURKE was the first postmaster of Minooka and a mine inspector (died 10/7/1910) due to the collapse of the roof of the Taylor Mines. Sarah BURKE married Michael Walsh of Scranton, PA has 12 children.
