My great grandfather, Thomas Foley b1824 apparently in Glen Flesk just southeast of Killarney, married Mary Anne Burke b 9/13/1830 in East Canada, on 6/25/1851 in Hull, Canada. The family, which had eight children emigrated to Walsh county ND in 1878. I also have another Burke family. My oldest son, Michael, married a woman whose mother was a Barbara Burke, reared in Omaha, NE. They all now live in Charlotte, NC.
