Sep. 14, 1943 in Buchanan, (near Fairfield) Jefferson County, Iowa, buried in Fairfield, Iowa Evergreen Cemetery. Joseph owned a farm and was a retired farmer. Joseph married Mary IVORSKI, (Last name may be spelled JWORSKI or JAWORSK) b. Jul. 6, 1867 in Poland; d. Mar. 3, 1934; She was 18 months old when she came to the U.S. with her parents from Poland. They lived in Chicago, Illinois for a short time and then settled in Iowa. Her parents were: John IVORSKI and Constance WEGNER. Constance's parents were: Lucas WEGNER and Mary. 1- Joseph BURKE and Mary IVORSKI (JWORSKI or JAWORSK ?)
