He served in the War of 1812 enlisting in Fleming Co., KY. He married Alicia (Elsa) Stoops. She came from the neighboring Nicholas Co., KY.They moved to Hamilton Co., IN along with other members of both families in the late 1820's. Later (by 1860) Moses and several of his children with their families moved on to Taylor Co., IA. The last mention of Moses that we have found is the 1860 census in Iowa. >From what we know I don't see a connection with your Moses Burk in Ohio.
