I am researching Edmund Burke of Massachusetts. I believe he was born in the 1820's to Irish immigrants Edmund & Mary Burke. He became an orphan around the age of 10 and was adopted by Lewis Lombard of Truro, Cape Cod, Mass. He married Sally Pike of Truro in 1846. They had 3 girls. One one grew up to have a child: Clara Burke. Clara married Alexander Benton and they had a child Ruth Benton. Edmund & Clara settled in Somerville, Mass. Edmund was captain of the Barque Azor which later became Fredonia. He died in 1874 in Somerville and is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, Mass. Is anyone researching this family?
