Ellen was born in Lochmore, Tipperary Ireland as was her brother Laurence. Two other sisters also came to the US. and two died in Ireland. They were all Roman Catholics. The date I have for Ellen's birth according to some Irish records was July 1847. My gr grandfather Laurence married Catherine Fahey ( m April 1877) Her family were neighbors of the Ritmans. They, Laurence and Kate,settled in Kansas and raised their family there. I don't have any pictures of George but I do have a couple of pictures of two of his daughters, Celia and Ellen (Ellie). When my gr grandfather came to the US, he lived with George and Ellen (also called Ella) for a few years. My grandfather was named George for George Ritman I believe. Are you related to that family?
