I am new to this list and hope to get some help. I have been hitting a brick wall with my great-grandmother. She was married in Philadelphia on 24 May 1874 to William V. Boyd. On her marriage certificate she lists her residence as Philadelphia. She is buried at Riverview Cem. in Wilmington, De. She was buried 26 June 1881. I assumed she was from PA, but I noticed on my grandparents listing in the Aldan, Delaware Co. Pa census for 1910, her daughter, Mabel Boyd Benson, lists place of birth of mother as Maryland. Now that I have completely confused everyone, HELP! Their is no record of Margaret's death at the archives in Delaware. I would so appreciate any leads, Thanks for reading all of this.

The info I have is that Gibson Burk, son of Elza Burk and Lavina Parker, married Emily Jane House and they had children, among them a Newton "O." and a Gibson "O." who m. Mary E. and in 1900 census Gibson O. and Mary E. had a son, Hew C. and they lived in Jasper Co., IL, N. Muddy Cr. Twp. Beside that entry I have my handwritten note: "minister. ltr from Fredonia, KS." And no notation as to where I got the info. Can you help? I have Elza and Lavinia Parker Burk's family, taken from the census and other info fm Effingham IL and Indiana records. I have a notebook with the families and as much information as I could find on these (mostly) unknown Burk families. They seemed to me to be closely related because they travelled in the same areas and the naming patterns are very telling.
