Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/RkG.2ACEB/3133 Message Board Post: I am looking for living relatives of the late William Burke. He was the brother of my Grandmother Whilomena Burke and William emigrated to Canada in the 1930's/40's and settled in Calgary, Alberta. Williams' parents came from Londonderry, Northern Ireland around the early part of the 1900's and settled in Glasgow. Williams' father was a James Burke, unfortunately I don't know the mothers name. There were 6 children in all and the following list is not in birth order:- Whilomena William (Bill) John(Jock) David Sophia Anne (Annie) Benjamin (Ben) My mother and father emigrated to Edmonton in 1958 and in 1960 my mothers parents came to visit us for a few months and in the summer we went a tour of the Rockies. During that tour we visited Bill and his family. My grandmother Whilomena was married to Alexander Beats and the two were called Sanny and Cissie. I think after that visit Cissie and Bill lost touch with each other. My grandparents went back to Scotland in November of 1960 and we followed suit in the summer of 1961. If anyone recognises these names I would be very grateful to hear from them. Lesley
