I need a little help in finding out who Thomas Burk, born about 1741, was married to. I have info showing that he was married to a Clara Fleming and to a Clara Frazier. Does anyone know just who he was married to? Could these two women be the same person? Robert Burk ==== BURK Mailing List ==== REMINDER ! ! ! Yes, but I found it by going through Familytreemaker Search. http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/s/c/o/William-Rice-Scott/tree/index.htm l then click on Descendents of Opechancanough Powhatan It starts with a Samuel Burks married to Mary Davis, she is the Indian maid. For those interested you can go to FamilyTreeMaker.com and in search put Opechancanough Powhatan and it gives you a lot History and Gen. Sites. About every time I see Burks in or around Pa. in the 1850's I think of the Samuel Burks that is connected to the Powhatan Line: That web site is http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/s/c/o/William-Rice-Scott/Gene3-ooo1.htm l ( 0004.html) begins with the Burks, Samuel b.ca 1703 This is worth a look for those that have not seen it.
