I descend from Jefferson Hugh Burell and Georgia Ann Puckett. Jefferson was the son of John Louis Burell and Mary Elizabeth Duncan. When Jefferson moved from the Hog Mountain Georgia area to Talladega County, Alabama, the spelling of the name changed to two "LL"s instead of one. I don't know why. I have photos of Jefferson Hugh Burell and Georgia Ann Puckett. Also have photos of three of their children: Amicus Americus Burell, Eugene Dache Burell and Berma Bell Burell (my grandmother).
