Looking for ancestors/descendants of James Birch who m. Sally? He was born ? in 1810 and showed up in the Hertford Cty, NC census of 1850 at 40 years old, wife Sally was 40, also. He was a shoemaker by trade, and they had Rosa, Sally A., Augustus B., and David H. Birch who was my g grandfather. He married Leah K. Askew, d/o Abner and Elizabeth Askew of NC. Their children were William Joseph Burch, Dazey M. Burch Taylor, David Abner Burch, and Henry Carlton (Collie) Burch. Any help or hint would be appreciated.
