Something to think about, if you know the cemetery where someone is buried you can contact the sexton and get records from them. If you have an obit on the person your looking for there is often a name of the funeral home. Their records are very extensive and may hold more information than you currently have. I don't know if you know where he is buried or not but you may also check out the local genealogical society where he was at the time. Our society has a huge obituary file and great deal of info on the cemeteries here. I hope this helps in some way or another, Bri
