My mom and dad divorced when I was three or so. She then remarried when I was four, and we moved from Oklahoma to Florida where I lived until I was 13. I didn't have any contact with my biological father again until I was 42. He died six months later. I am lucky in the fact that he was thrilled to see me; whereas, it doesn't seem that way with you.
