Elijah N. Burch married Clara L. Smith in Roger Mills county Oklahoma August 9, 1902. Both of Grimes Oklahoma. I found this document and sent off for the copy of this Marriage certificate. My grandmother says they filed a claim on land in New Mexico with a promise to improve it for 3 years to keep the land but Clara died of pneumonia and he left the land.
