Burch, 66, Frewsburg, N.Y., died Sunday (January 18, 2009) in the Hamot Medical Center, Erie, Pa. She was born October 6, 1942 in Wattsburg, Pa. the daughter of the late Roy and Beatrice Stokes Ellsworth. Linda was a 1960 graduate of Wattsburg High School. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Frederick H. Burch Jr.; five children, Dennis (Jerri Lynn) Burch of Frewsburg; Craig Burch of Panama; Jennifer (Jeffrey) Arnold of Bemus Point; Edna Harrington of Ellery Center; William (Julia) Burch of Jamestown; nine grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Ed Ellsworth, Jack Ellsworth, both of Wattsburg; Joyce Wunder, Paul Ellsworth, both of Busti, N.Y.; Edna Fisher, Carol Fisher, both of Jamestown, N.Y.; and Laura Burch of Panama, N.Y. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rita Howard and Ruth Barnhart; and two brothers, Wayne Ellsworth and Ralph Ellsworth. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home 805 West Third St Jamestown, N.Y. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery Frewsburg, N.Y. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
