They moved to TX in Dec. of 1835, and their sons, Valentine I. Burch and James Burch, participated in the fight for TX Independence. One of Valentine's daughters, married an Edward Gardiner in 1864, and they moved to Chruch Point LA, and later to Grand Coteau, LA. About 1841ish, this Burch family settled near Moscow, Polk Co., TX. Valentine, later moved his family to the home of his wife's father, Peter Cauble, at Peach Tree Village, Tyler Co., TX.
