Does anyone know anything about Pemberton Burch who was born no later than 1757, perhaps much earlier? In 1778 he took the Oath of Allegiance in Island Creek District of Granville Co., N.C. By 1784 he was a taxable in St. Luke's District of Caswell Co., N.C. In 1797 he was Administrator of the estate of John Shearman. In 1799 he used an agent to sell land he owned in Russell Co., Va., the deed giving no evidence how he came to own this property. William Dollarhide was his agent for the sale. Pemberton died in 1802 in Caswell Co.,N.C. Did he have children?
