For example, my 4g-grandfather MYERS married Mary Lewis HARRELL (daughter of Lewis HARRELL Sr.), my 3g-grandfather MYERS married Sarah Rebecca HARRELL (granddaughter of Lewis HARRELL Sr.), and my gg-grandfather MYERS married Elizabeth T. HARRELL (also granddaughter of Lewis HARRELL Sr.). I¹m related to myself so many ways, I could give myself a transfusion! So how does this relate to the BURCHes? Well, in addition to my 3g-grandparents.... Reuben Flournoy BURCH m. Millie Ann HARRELL in 1867 (Pulaski co, Georgia). Their son, Matthew Daniel BURCH, married Millie Ann Barbara HARRELL in 1891 (Dodge co, Georgia). Also: Josiah Timmons HARRELL m. Elizabeth Ann BURCH in 1822. Willis Daniel HARRELL m. Permelia BURCH in 1873 (probably Dodge co, GA). Asa Bryant HARRELL married Eliza BURCH in 1875. William Steelie BURCH m. Bedia Ann HARRELL abt 1890 (probably Dodge co, GA). J. Asa HARRELL m. Margaret BURCH abt 1900. Benjamin Levi HARRELL m. Henrietta Jane BURCH in 1904 (Dodge co, GA). Henry Herman BURCH m. Jeanette HARRELL abt 1920. John Calloway HARRELL m. Hattie E. BURCH in 1921 (Dodge co, GA). Michael Harris BURCH m. Mary Lou HARRELL in 1924 (Dodge co, GA). Although most of these relatives are somewhat distant, I count twelve HARRELL/BURCH marriages in my family. (I think that makes my point.) ;) So.... Do Rollie and Margaretta make 13?
