No, I haven't done any searching in NC, but it certainly wouldn't be unheard of. At least one of James Burch HARRELL's children - the second, Elizabeth T(homas?) HARRELL - was born in SC. As for my DRAKEs, I don't think there's any connection there. As far as I can tell, my DRAKEs emigrated from somewhere in England to Brooklyn, NY in the 1870s or '80s.
