Is anyone interested in the Burch family of Caswell and Person counties in North Carolina, some of whom had formerly lived in Granville Co? Does anyone know anything of Pemberton Burch who was an adult by 1769 when he was taxed in Granville Co.,N.C. (Nicholas Sr. and Jr. taxed in same list). By the 1780's he was in St. Luke's District, Caswell Co., and some of his land extended into Person Co when it was formed. He died in 1802 in Caswell. Do any estate papers remain--perhaps at the state archives in Raleigh? Who were his children? Any help welcomed. Thanks. Gary Young
