Author: mgoldie44 Surnames: Burch Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.burch/2358/mb.ashx Message Board Post: My grandfather was DC Burch, that is either Dave or David Crockett Burch, he was a blacksmith in Burkville untill the late 40"s and died in 1950, I understand due to illness caused by a fire at their home and business in Burkville. I believe his father to have been John Thomas Burch but have been unable to connect any information. I think that JT Burch came from Lousiana as that is where DC Burch was born.
