Leah Kateah Askew, both died young, leaving David Abner Jr. (Ab) , to raise Henry (Collie) Carlton Burch, George Burch, Daisy Burch, William Joseph Burch, and Elizabeth Burch in Hertford/Chowan area. Possibilities? Marcus E. Burch? A.B. Burch? Martha Burch? William Augustus Burch? James Warren Burch? All buried in same cemetery near Harrellsville, NC, could be family? I am the granddaughter of "Collie" Burch m. Maggie Chappell from Tyner NC, ch. Elton, Joseph, James Burch. He was born October 15, 1894 and his parents died shortly thereafter.     2. I am looking for any information on my g-grandmother. Her name was Ida M. Burch. She was born November 1, 1874. in Easton, GA and died March 13, 1946. She was married on June 5, 1894 in Colquitt Co., to S. C. Whittington first, one child Sylvester C Whittington. Then she married my g-grandpa Samuel T. Harrell born june 25, 1876 in Madison, FL and died June 3, 1955 in Lakeland, Polk County, FL. They were married Feb. 10, 1898. they had 10 children. I was told by my grandma (Ida's child) that her mom was adopted. I did get a death cert. on her and it says mother unknown and father Reuben Burch and it looks like he was from TX. Does anyone know of this Reuben Burch??? I don't know if he is birth father or adopted father. I am so stuck on this one. Thanks, Kim
