Just to let interested parties know - while I was searching for books - BIRCH, BURCH FAMILY IN GREAT BRITAIN & AMERICA, Vol. I & 11, by Marilu Burch SMALLWOOD, I learned of Georgia's Ancestors, a company that sells re-prints of the books. Web site - http://www.georgiagenealogy.net/ Plus, there are other re-prints by Mrs. Smallwood. When I ordered these books, the gentleman told me that these books had been indexed, which is a blessing in itself, because the original books that Mrs. Smallwood had, were not indexed. I have just about worn out my original books on this Birch/Burch family, so I was in need of replacement, as to be able to retire my original books to prevent further deterioration. Sallie

I am looking for a person named Norman G Burch, who is my father, and he met and married my mother Michelle Byers(maiden name). They both met in the military in the late 1970's. My mother is caucasian, and my father is African-American (maybe Native American as well). From what I remember when I was little, I think that he is from North Carolina. Now, it could possibly South Carolina because I have not seen him since kindergarten or second grade. I have a younger sister and brother, and all five of us live in military housing in Kentucky for a short period of time, then we moved to Akron, Ohio. This was the last time that i saw him. If anybody has any kind of information or contact, I will forever be greatful. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. My research includes 2 generations of his ancestors, and 4 generations of his descendants. As my info includes several descendants who are still living (including yourself), I don't think posting all this info on-line is the prudent thing to do. Briefly, Robert W. BURCH (Oliver, Thomas) was born 30 Mar 1858 in Kentucky, and died 25 Sep 1928 in Farmington, St. Francois Co., MO. He married Jerusha Angeline MITCHELL 06 Jul 1879, daughter of James Mitchell and NANCY ??. She was born 29 Jan 1861 near Doe Run, St. Francois Co., MO, and died 14 Aug 1952 in Farmington, St. Francois Co., MO. My entire 6 generation Family Tree of Descendants of Thomas BURCH, Sr. totals 68 pages. If you will send me your e-mail address, I would be happy to share any of my info you wish. As I'm sure my research includes some "blanks", perhaps you can help me fill in some of the missing info. Looking forward to hearing from you.
