I am looking for information re: a Walter Burtch who is listed in the 1871 Ontario, Canada census, Oxford county. At that time he had a wife Lucy (Maiden name: French). Fitzgerald, Mary B. Fitzgerald Burch Mary B. Fitzgerald Burch, 88, of Springville, N.Y., died Sunday, April 5, 2009, at St. Mary's Home East. She was born in Erie on September 27, 1920, daughter of the late Harry and Anna Seelinger Fitzgerald. She graduated from Academy High School in 1938. She also enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin K. Burch. A sister, Virginia Fitzgerald, and a brother, Harry Fitzgerald. She is survived by two sisters, Gertrude Buettner, and Anna Mae Lee and her husband, Norman, all of Erie. Close friends Agnes and Walter Wozniak of Springville, N.Y. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends may call at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St., on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service there at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard Schultz officiating. He died in the USA on 23 July 1882. His mother Mary Burch was buried in Ashcott (next to Shapwick) on 29 June 1852.
