Ancestry.com has put the 1881 Canada census on line and lists 25 Bunker households. I can identify about half of them. Following are the ones I can't identify. Can anyone help? George b. USA age l53, seaman, wife Catherine, Ch: William, Barton, Frederick, Oliver and Edith living in Sandy Cove, Nova Scotia 1881. Naomi Bunker age 8, b. Ontario but of German origin in the household of Mary Irvin, age 51, b. Ontario, German origin, living in Port Perry, Ontario in 1881. Thomas John b. England age 50 with wife Elizabeth, ch: Amos, Thomas, George, John and Abel living in Toronto in 1881. Sarah b. England age 79 a widow living with daughter Emma age 19, b. Ontario living in Toronto in 1881. Alexander Bunker b. Ontario age 65, gentleman, married but no wife found, Dutch origin, living in Stamford, Ontario. Daniel, b. England age 29 with wife, Amelia and dau Eliza, b. Ontario living in Stouffvile, Ontario. George b. Quebec age 16, living in household of George A. Colburn in Magog, Stanstead, Que. Carrie b. USA age 21, school teacher, living in Household of Herman Allen, Ste-Armand East, Que. Timothy, b. New Brunswick age 35, Irish, with wife, Bridget, Ch: Nellie, Catherine, Edmund, James, John, and Timothy in Portland, New Brunswick. Emma b. New Brunswick age 12, English, living in household of John D. Fraser in St. John, New Brunswick. Alfred b. New Brunswick age 26, trader, in household of James Haus but next door to Charles (RN4975) and Elizabeth Bunker and could be their son, in Lincoln, New Brunswick.
