Ancestry.com has just put online the 1829-30 Manhattan, NY city directory. There are 14 Bunker entries. Benjamin F. Bunker lives at 48 Essex and works at 38 James along with Cyrus E. Bunker. We have a Benjamin Franklin Bunker (RN 18494) living in Brooklyn at the time but no Cyrus connected with him. Anyone know who these two are? Bethuel Bunker is living at 6 Cortlandt. could he be Elihu S.'s (Rn 17308) son? Elihu's s. is living at 322 Greenwich. We have Bunker & Heron, wine & tea store at 6 Cortlandt. Henry W. and Timothy W. Bunker & Co., sail makers are living at 38 Mulberry and working at 104 South. Who are they? Isaiah Bunker & Co., Merchants are at 31 Burling - slip. Reuben is a weigh master at 78 Gold. Reuben P. and B. Bunker & Son, sail loft live at 66 Chrystie and work at 169 South. There is William I. at the mansion-house, 39 Broadway. The widow Elizabeth is living at 116 Beekman. And we have B.F. & C.E. Bunker, painters at 21 Madison. Notice we have a Benjamin F. and Cyrus E. (above) associated together on 48 Essex and 38 James too. Perhaps they are from our line.
