    3. Recently, your list coordinator has received an extraordinary of bounced message in which a program called Spam Cop is blocking mail from the Bunker-L mailing list because it perceives Rootsweb e-mail as "spam." Spam Cop is one of those aggressive programs that blocks legitimate e-mail from being received by subscribers to legitimate e-mail services. Users of Spam Cop will need to send e-mail to get it to accept mail from Rootsweb's Bunker-L list server which has an Internet Protocol address of 207.40.200.39. As your list coordinator, I don't regularly respond to any of these bounced messages as Rootsweb's servers do attempt to resend mail. But it seems that recently this problem has gotten worse, and if you use Spam Cop to block e-mail, you will need to act affirmatively to get it to accept Bunker-L mail from Rootsweb. I will send copies of this message to users receiving blocked messages, advising them to find another spam filter for their e-mail program or complain loudly to Spam Cop marketers for blocking legitimate e-mail messages.
