When I was a little girl growing up in Minnesota, every winter we would go out into the woods and take a sleigh ride. The sleigh was on skies and pulled by two horses with bells on them. If there was not enough snow, we would ride in the wagon filled with hay and pulled by two to four horses adorned with bells. The beautiful horses, the sun glistening on the new fallen snow and the sound of the bells was such a treat. About 20 years ago I moved to Arizona and was astounded to see roses blooming on Christmas. Since then I have had roses from my own yard every Christmas and they are quite beautiful. For those of you in areas where it is cold, may you have a beautiful white Christmas all snuggled up warm in your homes. For those of us in the south, may we all have roses for Christmas.
