I just got in the latest results for our DNA surname project. We now have a Nantucket Bunker descendant that matches the Bedfordshire Bunkers. This is proof that George who married Elizabeth Godfrey and Jane Godfrey was a descendant of Roger of Tingrith. We also got in results for two descendants of James Bunker of Dover, NH. They are descended from different sons of James (2). They also match so we can be certain of the haplotype of James of Dover, NH too. There is another Bunker whose pedigree that I do not have but he matches the Dover Bunkers too so is a descendant of James of Dover, NH. This is really good as now if we have a Bunker that does not know who he is descended from and he matches one of these it will help narrow down the search for his connecting ancestor. We are still looking for more German Bunkers to take the test, descendants of the twins, descendants of the Verboncoeurs, Dutch Bunkers, Native Americans, African Americans and Charleston Bunker descendants. And I am looking for a descendant of Thomas Jefferson Bunker of Lena, IL I would like to test. I will personally pay for the test for the T.J. Bunker descendant. Is anyone interested?
