I am trying to connect Eben and Nancy Bunker who were living in Waterloo, Shefford Co., Quebec, Canada around 1833-1864. The cemetery there has two grave sites for them: Betsey, daughter of Eben & Nancy Bunker, died Jul 6, 1833, age 13 y. Nancy, wife of Eben Bunker, died Aug 15, 1864, aged 43 y. There is something wrong with the dates here. Nancy appears to have been born in 1821, one year after her daughter Betsey who was born in 1820. If this is a transcription error and Betsey was actually 3 years old, it still does not make sense as that would make her mother 9 years old when Betsey was born. Next to these graves are the graves of Sylvia, wife of Thomas J. Bunker, Andrew P., son of Shepherd, Bradley C., son of Shepherd, Eveline Castle wife of Shepherd and Shepherd. Shepherd was the son of Thomas J. and Sylvia Bunker. There is no record that an Eben was born to this family. To have a child aged 13 in 1833, Eben should have been born about 1800 and could have been a brother to Thomas J. who was born in 1803. Thomas was one of two sons of Isaac and Sally Parker Bunker. He was born in Meredith, NH Isaac and Sally married in Aug 1799. Their first child was born Sep 1801 and Thomas J. was born in Nov 1803. A child could have been born to them in 1800 or 1802. Isaac and Sally left NH and moved to Shefford Co., Quebec, Canada in 1807. About 1860 another Bunker family came to Shefford Co., Quebec, Canada but from 1807 through 1860, I can find no other Bunkers in this area except the family of Isaac and Sally. Does anyone have any idea who the parents of Eben were? Or where he came from? Sure could use some help here. Thanks. Bette
