The New England Historic Genealogy Society puts out a newsletter that is free. They have 33 databases that are free and about 60 or so more that are for members only. I must say of all the genealogical societies that I belong to I get the most from them. Their current newsletter lists all their online databases. Many are available only from them. Most of the US citizens had ancestors from New England and this is the place to find the records. I recommend that you read this newsletter especially for the information about their databases. http://www.nehgs.org and on the right side of the page you will see A Guide to New England Ancestors etc. It has a link to subscribe to the newsletter and get these two editions.
