I am very nervous right now about Isabel. My son and family are on Cape Hatteras. The coast guard workers left their homes this morning. He plans on leaving Wed morning. I want him to leave NOW but his boss wants him to leave Thursday morning (that is when it is scheduled to hit). I hope all of you are well prepared and everyone on the coast leaves as soon as possible. I have been in 80 mph winds but never 125 mph ones. 80 mph is bad enough. Blows pretty hard. My kids live in a motor home so I am having real problems with them driving the thing across the bridge to the mainland. I don't know how high the bridge is but the waves are now 9 feet high and the hurricane is still over 700 miles away. At sea level, 9 feet of water is pretty awesome. There are times I really am glad that I live in the desert. Actually, most of the time. The whole east coast looks like it is in for some real storms here. Hang on to your hats guys. I hope all of you do ok. Bette
