The 1881 census in Canada says that William, the son of Robert Bunker (RN21882) and Permilla Harris, was born in Ontario but he was of German origin. This would indicate that Robert Bunker was probably born in Germany. We have come to a dead end with Robert and Permilla and probably need to be looking for them in Germany.
