Dick Eastman gives a couple sites to check that out in his newsletter this week. http://rootsforum.com A list of "approved ancestors" is at http://www.adeaw.us/ancestors.htm This list includes John Godfrey who never had any children. It might be interesting to see who his descendants are. There is an Association of Daughters of Early American Witches http://www.adeaw.us/ that uses this list. It does not include Indians accused or punished or killed as witches. I'm not sure if it includes African Americans. The Indians and Africans were the two largest groups hung as witches but are usually ignored. Quakers were regularly accused of being witches including at least one Bunker.
