Actually, Bette, one can make a very useful medical pedigree chart for a single disease by simply using the Descendant Tree button on the Tool Bar of Family Tree Maker. Then you can show affected individuals by coloring their individual rectangles with a highlighter and write the names of diseases and/or causes of death beside each affected individual.
