The Bunker Family Assn believes this William that married Sarah Greene was the son of George, b. 17 Jun 1648, Tingrith, Beds and grandson of Francis, b. 6 Apr 1617, Tingrith and his wife Tabitha Davey. However, as far as I know there are no records to support this as a certainty. I started researching my family tree in Jan 2004. Didn't think it would be so addictive! I am related to the Bunker family via my mother Irene Bunker and the Bedfordshire Bunkers. I am currently trying to find William Bunker - born appx 1660 in Westoning, Beds and his parents/grandparents. There is no mention of this William on family search, rootsweb or in the parish register, just the William who moved to Topsfield. My William married Sarah Greene in 1688 in Westoning. They had four children - William b.1693, Alice b.1697, Henry b.1701 and Thomas b.1704. I believe William senior was buried in Westoning on July 3rd 1716. He was a parish clerk. Sarah died a pauper in 1737. I believe that William senior descends from Francis or Timothy Bunker, so if anyone can help me solve this mystery, or direct me to somewhere that may help, I would be grateful. Thanks, in advance.
