If you are packing for the trip to Tucson, pack both warm and cool clothes. The day time temps will be in the 70s and 80s. The night time temps will be from the 40s to 60s. Tombstone and Nogales are both 1,000 feet higher than Tucson which means they are 5-10 degrees cooler. In addition, they tend to be windy and a cold wind on a warm day can be pretty chilly. If we don't need sweaters or jackets, the bus driver will be staying with the bus so it will be ok. Karchner Cave is always 68 degrees and VERY wet. I am a desert rat and by the time I get done with the tour I am pretty cold but you guys from snow country might find it very pleasant. You will definitely be able to swim in the pool. The motel also has an exercise room. I suggest that you bring a sweater or jacket no matter what but you may also want to bring shorts and a tank top. Everything here is air conditioned year round. The bus will be air conditioned. I highly doubt that we will need the heat on the bus. I was driving around today with the air conditioning on. For the banquet we dress up a little but slacks for the ladies is fine. We tend to do what we call Tucson dressy. That means if you have to wear a tie you are not in Tucson! Our banquets usually look that way. We have gotten lots of snow so if you want to ski it looks like the ski lift will be open too. And of course, we have nearly as many golf courses as we have people. Bring sun screen if you intend to go to the ball games. Everyone always gets sunburned at the spring training games. See, we've got everything! Bette
