I was looking at census records today and found Cyrena with Henry Perry in 1870 in Panton, Addison Co., VT with her children Ida, Richard H. and Sheridan. In 1880 they were in Starksboro and had another son, George. In 1900 they were in Charlotte, Chittenden Co., VT. Henry was working for a guy named Kellogg as was their daughter Ida who by this time had married a guy named Mark Buman. Mark was working on one side of the Kellogg place and Cyrena was living on the other side. Cyrena had another son with her which looks like Carneli E. b. Feb 1886 but that name does not make sense and was poorly written. I cannot clearly read the number of children she had but it appears to be 4 children with 4 living. This makes 5 so I don't know. There was an article in the Banner, p. 1128, which gave 4 husbands for Cyrena including two named Pratt six months apart in 1866. It appears she married Henry Perry in 1866 (married 34 years in 1900) and stayed married to him until she was at least 60 years old. I did not find any of them in the 1910 census. According to the 1900 census birthdates are as follows. All places of birth are VT Henry Perry b. Nov 1838 Cyrena b. Aug 1840 Ida b. Aug 1861 m. c. 1879 (21 yrs in 1900) Mark J. Buman b. Nov 1856, children: Mary J. b. Sep 1884, Abbie F. b. Nov 1889 and another probably as Ida was listed with 3 children, 3 living in the 1900 census. Richard H. b. c. 1867, age 3 in the 1870 census Sheridan b. Oct 1870 Ida appears to have been born before Henry and Cyrena were married unless I am reading the numbers wrong and they had been married 39 years in 1900. That would make a marriage in 1861, the same year as Ida was born. Our database has a marriage date of Jul 1866 but there is no source and that is supposed to be the date Cyrena married Henry Pratt according to the Banner article. Bette
