Good news. The idiot in the State Dept in San Francisco decided that a man named Archie Richards existed and therefore so must Bette Richards. Or at least I think that was his reasoning as I got the passport today. I am still amazed as I never did supply any proof I was ever married to Archie. I can't for the life of me figure out why proving Archie's name was Richards proves that my name is also Richards. Oh well. All I care about is that now maybe I can go to Germany and see my daughter. Bette
