Dear Listers and Reunion Goers: Added REUNION attraction/activity alternative for those not wishing to go to Mexico – March 6th A Tour of the “Oldest and Largest Anthropology Museum in the Southwest”. It was established in 1893 Admission $3.00 Per Person – suggested Donation…. We are allowing about 2 ½ hours for the visit here. The Museum Store (is closed 12:30 – 1:00) Their Web Site: http://www.statemuseum.arizona.edu/about/index.html It has been set up to meet Kate Kellum Billett’s (BALES) cousin Mike Jacobs in the lobby of the Arizona State Museum (North Building). 10:00 AM on Saturday (This is the time the galleries open) Mike is one of the curators there. Our Bunker sign up Group will meet in the Pueblo Inn Lobby,9:00 AM -- and pool available cars. Kate has a Van and can take 5 additional persons. Maralyn can take 2 or 3 additional. Any others? -- please let Kate know when you check in on Thursday or Friday. She will have a sign up sheet prepared for this venture. Lunch: could be at the nearby Marriott Inn Restaurant (Saguaro Grill) Café Paraiso, Frog & Firkin, Gentle Bens Decision to be made by the group going on either Thursday or Friday. If anyone would like to extend our excursion, we could drive a ½ hour west through the Sonora Dessert area to the Living Desert Museum --- Where they have wonderful food---- a bit spendy… but good. They also have good sandwiches and soups. This is really a wonderful place to visit …. Drawback may be in the $12/Adult admission fee + the Lunch.
