Pamela Briggs sent me this site. The Nantucket Historical Society is putting pictures of gravestones online. So far there are 27 Bunkers and it is being updated regularly. Go to http://www.nha.org. Click on site map in upper right hand corner. On the site map look for About the Library in the upper right hand corner. Click on cemetery project under that heading. You will get a search box. If you enter Bunker you will get them all. When you see the stone you want, click on the sentence that says for more information and a bigger picture click here. Great site. And you can order pictures of the gravestone of your ancestor too. Doug may want to put a link to NHA on our website for the use of all our Nantucketers. There is a lot of information on this site including the Eliza Barney database that probably contains all the early Nantucket Bunkers.
