    3. Lynn, As I recall, Bette was not actually "warning" us about Family Tree Maker, but she was saying that it didn't work for the extremely large Bunker genealogy she manages. FTM does have its little quirks that vary from version to version, but it still is a great program for the average user as far as I'm concerned. I've tried other programs and always return to FTM. I'm not trying to put words in your mouth, Bette, so correct me if I'm wrong.     3. You are correct Carolyn. I think FTM is a good program. The latest versions automatically put everything on Ancestry which I do not like but you can change the settings to stop that. Otherwise, I think it is a good program and good for most people's use. It has a lot of good features.
