Dear Bunker relatives, I have been having health problems for some time now and I think I'd better bring you up to date before it's too late. I have two masses, one in the lung the other in the abdomen, both of which are malignant. I had a "procedure" done on the more aggressive tumor last Monday but it was too embedded to be able to remove. After a couple of weeks I should probably start chemotherapy in hopes of shrinking that mass to where they can either do surgery again or radiation treatment. The lung mass has apparently been there for years, growing very slowly. We won't worry about it until we know what's happening with the abdominal one. I'll not be very happy this summer. My love to all of you with whom I have been in correspondence since 1983 and beyond. MaryGene
Oh no! Sorry MaryGene. It has been a joy working with you and I am looking forward to more time doing that. You have given BFA so much time and service and I appreciate it. I hope the treatment is effective and you are as comfortable as possible. What a bummer of a summer vacation plan. MaryGene, I'm so sorry to read this, and it's not a fun thing to look forward to. A few years ago I was diagnosed with colon cancer, and today I'm cancer free. I wish you similar results. I'll be thinking about you. Please give us an update. On 7/1/2016 2:02 PM, j.paxton via wrote: > Oh no.
