Sorry, had wrong address to begin with, but I am searching to find out what Palatinate, Germany refers to as I have found it referring to our ancestor's homeland. Also, is "Benen" a regular name in German? I am researching a Jacob Fehr, born 1704 who sailed from Rotterdam to PA and came from Palatinate, Germany and had two sons, Benen Jacob Fehr and Brother John Fehr.
