Hello Ron, My earliest known male Bullock ancestor was Richard, who died in Surry Co., Va., in 1703. I am familar with Thomas of Isle of Wight but not much although I went to Isle of Wight researching Thomas. I As to Captain Hugh, I am confident that one would have a very hard time proving that he/she is descended from Capt. Hugh. It is undisputed that he Hugh had a son: William and that William had a son: Robert, and that Robert had one or more daughters, but I am doubtful he had a son. There are several who claim to descend from Capt. Hugh and or his "supposely" brothers but I would like to see the proof thereof. Worth Rays' book, I believe, is the culprit in many of these instances. I take it that you descend from Thomas. I would like to share Bullock info. with you. Robert A.
