    1. [BULLOCK-L] Israel Bullock (1704-1757), Where died?
    2. Jim Bullock
    3. My data shows that Israel Bullock (b. 1704, d. 16 Feb 1757), husband of Sarah Brown, died in Barrington, RI. I want to check to see if anyone has documentation to verify this. The reason I ask is that probate records show that he was from Rehoboth, Bristol, MA. In H. L. Peter Rounds' book, _Abstracts of Bristol County, Massachusetts, Probate Records, Book 2, 1745-1762_, are the following listings: P. 200; Inv. of est. of ISRAEL BULLOCK of Reho., ord. 5 Apr. 1757, pres. 5 Apr. 1757 by Sarah Bullock, widow & admx. Pers. est. 134-1-8; real est. 200-0-0. Apprs: Daniel Carpenter, Benjamin Brown & Peleg Richmond [15:326¼/6½/7]. P. 208; Appt. of Sarah Bullock of Reho., widow, to be admx. of est. of ISRAEL BULLOCK of Reho. dcd. intest., dtd. 5 Apr. 1757 [15:449]. P. 228; Acct. of Sarah Bullock, admx. of est. of ISRAEL BULLOCK of Reho., dtd. 5 Dec. 1758. Incl. var. payms. "Spent in the family" [16:177/8]. The abbreviations used by Rounds are: acct. - account admx. - administratrix apprs. - appraisers appt. - appointed dcd. - deceased dtd. - dated est. - estate intest. - intestate inv. - inventory ord. - order paym. - payment pres. - presented Reho. - Rehoboth I came across this when trying to verify the parents of Comfort Bullock, but as shown above, Israel died intestate, so there was no will naming his children. I guess it's possible that Israel was living in Rehoboth but died while he was away from home (in RI). Jim Bullock Littleton, CO
