Thank you for the information on your Bullocks-- I have a copy of the "Lost Tribes of Granville Co" by Worth Ray and he has my James Bullock and his family, listed as a son of Nathanial and if you look closely at the dates, then you can see that this is incorrect. My Richard Bullock's father is named Joshua Bullock and a son of James Bullock. Also just off the Colton's Point in Maryland in the Potomac, you will find Bullock Island, and the seat of my Bullock Family. At one time it was 100a in size, now down to less than 1 acre. St. Catherines is just beside it. My John Bullock was indentured for 4 years when he came to US--so my Bullocks were not the wealthy arrivals--but some became wealthy in land holdings---but did not pass anything on to me. Worth Ray has a good start for building you Bullock Family (if they live in Granville Co., NC) from. It helps towards knowing the other families of Bullocks.
