I have Bullocks in my family, but they go way back to before 1700 with Mary Margaret Bullock who married Rene de St. Julien in Bermuda. I do not know whether any of her siblings came to Charleston then or not?? My question has to do with Archibald Hunter Yell, a great-great Uncle who was a lawyer, judge and a soldier of fortune sort of. He was elected to Congress from AR, but never served for he went to Mexico and was killed in the Battle of Buena Vista. Do you have any knowledge of his family. I know he was widowed at least once and I think his children may have died before him or soon after? Any ideas?? My grandmother was a Yell. Thanks--ila41430@aol.com
