Hello List I would like to post what little data I have on my 3rd great grandparents in hopes that someone may have the puzzle piece for which I have been searching. Any tid bit of info or comment will be gratefully acknowledged. Lewis SOWDER born ca 1810 in Rockcastle Co Ky married 12 Jan 1832 in Pulaski Co Ky to Milly BULLOCK born ca 1803 in Va. Surety for marriage was John SOWDER. Milly died ca 1869. Lewis m2) 9 May 1872 in PCK to Isabel HOWLEY.This was Isabel's 3rd marriage, so not susre if her maiden name is HOWLEY. According to Lewis' 2nd marriage record he and his parents were born in Rockcastle Co. However, Rockcastle was not created until 1810 Would like primarily to know parentage of Lewis & Milly. Also would like to know how John is connected. Is he the father of Lewis ? Or older brother ? I would like to get in contact with anyone that is a descendant of this line.
